Great Job. The site is coming very close to place where we can make it our home page on browsers.
Keep the momentum going. Let me know if there is anything I can help.

"SHRADHAANJALI - A tribute to Dr. Rajkumar"
was OUTSTANDING !!!
Kudos to all the participants as well as the organizers of the event. The selection and delivery of songs, the dance performance as well as the Audio/Video presentation was very well coordinated and executed. The delivery by thespian actor Dwarkeesh was timely and moving. Needless to say, the facility as well as the quality of the equipment was flawless.
We certainly look forward to such future events from the Mallige Kannada Sangha and its members, of which we are proud members.
My congratulations to you and the other MKANT organizers for putting together a wonderful show on Saturday night at the Garland Plaza Theater. I thought the program was well organized and everyone who sang did a great job entertaining the audience. Anyone who is familiar with Rajkumar's Kannada cinema would have loved the prorgam.
It was a fitting tribute to Rajkumar for his service to Kannada movie industry. Thanks for organizing this show and look forward to future MKANT events.
Sairam
time :-) around and it showed in the results. The accompaning video was at same time entertaining, humorous, informative and touching. It succeded in conveying the differenct facets of Dr.Raj's rich life.
Dwarakish addressing the audience from Bangalore over phone was a nice touch so was Madhu Shastry's exclusive video!
I would be doing an injustice if I do not point out a couple of short comings, however minor.
The brochure yet again had wrong address, which more than just myself noticed. Since it is the second time it is happenning, better attention to proof reading would be appreciated.
When emcee commended Dr.Raj's fluency in kannada and command over complex dialouge delivery, the following video was the part where Dr.Raj plays the rustic village idiot in the early part of movie 'Kavirathna Kalidasa'. It would have been more apt to play the portion when he recites
'Manikya veena upalalayanthi...'
Thanks.
Deepavali 2006 program was a great success.
Congratulations !! What a wonderful evening it was. Facilities, food and programs were all superb. Thanks to everyone who put effort to make this program successfull. Yakshagana was simply fantastic.
Ms Aparna, we look forward to seeing you as a big artiste soon. Good job, well done.
This is to let you all know that, for last 10 years of my stay in DFW area, Deepavali program organized by Mallige is one of the best I have seen. Food was good, Atmosphere was good, program was the best.
One suggestion for improvement is program does not seem to flow smoothly. Need to hire good DJ/MC to get crowd involved and get their attention.
Anyway, good luck on future programs and hope to see you all exceed the standard set with this event.
Thanks
Raj
Parents can inculcate the Indian heritage and Karnataka culture in our second-generation kids in a variety of different ways. One powerful way to accomplish this is through dance-drama where stories from our great epics, Ramayana and Mahabharata, are narrated through age-old fine arts. A little-known fact is that Yakshagana integrates Indian fine art forms - classical music and classical dance - in the presentation of an ancient historical piece to the audience. Colorful costume of the artists and unique instrumental accompaniment (Chanday) adds variety and vibrancy to the dance-drama. Most importantly, every presentation brings out and/or reinforces an element of our value system in a way that is fun and entertaining for the whole family.
It is through such innovative programs that “second-generation” kids (and many first-generation parents) have a better appreciation of our art and culture, bring uniqueness and variety in our program offerings, and enhance member participation in MKANT events. I congratulate MKANT Committee for its courage and dexterity to support an art that is on the verge of extinction.
Re: 2007 Ugaadi Program
Thank you for organizing such a wonderful program last evening. We really enjoyed the food and all the performances. The organization and flow was excellent. The venue was perfect.
My special thanks to you all for bringing “Ganga-Kaveri” program. This was one of the best live fusion music performances I have been to. My daughter and I were at New Orleans Jazz Fest last week – these guys clearly outperformed all the groups there! Even our teenage kids agree. Please forward them our appreciation and compliments.
However, it was unfortunate many left soon and missed such a wonderful performance. We should all call our friends around the country and encourage them to attend their performance in other cities.
Their CD’s are excellent too. I recommend them to everyone’s collection.
For the growth of our organization, we should all encourage Kannadigas we meet to join Mallige.
Thanks again,
Balu Chandra, MD
It is great to see appreciation for efforts to arrange this concert and Ugadi program.
Yes, some people left early and missed this excellent concert. The music was so captivating that many people sat there till the end. We will surely come up with more concerts of the same caliber.
Thanks a lot for your encouraging messages and please do spread the word about MKANT and encourage your friends to become members of this association.
Thanks
Vatsa
We all know that several Kannada functions for 2007 are going very well with high expectations.
Recent Ugadhi functions went of well with high expectations and every one enjoyed all the programs during this event.
Great children talents along with masterly classical performance by Shivu along with Praveen Gorakandi
Vatsa and team, please keep up the tempo and all the credit goes to you and your team with support from Kannada premigalu and many previous founders and members
We all know that every one’s life has become very hectic with all the busy events during weekends. In addition family commitments and not to mention work related stress and tensions.
With all these Kannada membership teams working side by side with pride to promote and preserve our great Kannada language, heritage along with Indian music & culture. This is again a true community feeling and spirit in mind.
I am sure all Kannadigas (Mild, peace loving, that is what many people from other states in India say about us) understand underlying difficulties and hardships organizing these type of events. It is always easy to pass on quick comments & critics. Once again it is really difficult to involve, organize and make it happen every single time and I don’t know how these folks do.
Having said that constructive positive ideas are always welcome to Vatsa team and team will definitely see how to make it happen
Vatsa, I personally thank you and your team members so much for all your commitments and
Thanks

The Ugadi celebration program held at Allen Public Library past Sunday, was a treat to the audience. I missed the first part where Kannada class kids performed but the skit was excellent. Very nicely written and directed. All the actors did a very good job. Especially Ismail bhai!
The second part of the program - the concert by RKS was fabulous. I am sure we will be getting such good treats from MKANT in future.
My Hearty congratulations to the new team and wish you the very best.

Deepavali 2008 event that was held on Saturday Nov 22nd was a fantastic program. The talents that were showcased by kids and adults were of very high quality. My special congratulations to Subbu and Purnima for putting on this unprecedented act of villagers and holding the program together as masters of ceremony. That was an amazing job.
Food (or whatever that was left for us when we got there) was good. (Please do not take that as a negative comment, if the food was gone that means it was very good. ) Overall, the program reflected the exceptional work done by the committee to make this happen.
Once again, wonderful program and very heartly congratutions to the MKANT team and supporters.
Thanks
